Khalifa University would like to invite qualified candidates to apply for the position of Middle East Studies Faculty. Successful candidates will join the newly founded Institute for International and Civil Security.

Candidates should have a Ph.D., a Middle East specialization, and some background in security studies.

Possible areas of research specialization include the defense and foreign policies of Gulf states; the politics and/or political economy of the Gulf and broader Middle East; contemporary Islamic and other social movements;

 terrorism; the regional impacts of globalization, and emerging regional threats and responses.
