موسسه تفکر نوین اقتصادی و مرکز بین المللی ابتکارات فراخوان طرح تحقیقاتی در حوزه ی اهمیت حیاتی رشته های اقتصادی برای پاییز 2011 داده است. درخواست های اولیه بایستی تا 15 سپتامبر ارسال شوند.تمرکز سومین دوره این کمک هزینه تحقیقی بر شش موضوع ذیل می باشد:

-روابط مالی و اقتصادی حقیقی

-درون وابستگی های جهانی و سیاست های اقتصاد کلان

-مدل های توسعه اقتصادی،نوآوری و رشد

-تاریخچه اقتصاد

-تاریخ تفکر اقتصادی

The Institute for New Economic Thinking and The Centre for
International Governance Innovation are calling for new research
proposals in areas of vital importance to the field of economics for
the Fall 2011 grants cycle. The initial proposals for grants are due
by September 15, 2011, and the process will culminate in mid-December
2011 with the announcement of grant awards.

In our first two rounds of research grants, awarded in Fall 2010 and
Spring 2011, INET and CIGI awarded more than 50 grants totaling over
$12 million.

The third round of research grants will focus on these six areas:

Financial and Real Economic Linkages
Global Interdependencies and Macroeconomic Policies
Models of Economic Development, Innovation and Growth
Sustainable Economics
Economic History
History of Economic Thought
Within these broad areas, in this round we would particularly like to
invite proposals that address:

Sources and remedies of financial instability
Institutional design for radical (Knightian) uncertainty
Economic strategies and performance in Emerging Markets
Corporate governance in an age of economic globalization
Political economy of the state and public goods provision
Private and public sector intergenerational responsibility
Political economy of income and wealth distribution
Human capability and economic development
